If your emotions or behaviors are out of control, impairing your ability to function on a daily basis, or if you have prolonged grief or difficulty thinking straight, you would likely benefit more from counseling than coaching at this time.

Sometimes before focused coaching is effective, people need to work towards healing issues from the past, often originating from traumas or family of origin issues.

Some appropriate psychotherapy issues are:

  • Serious Depressions
  • Generalized anxiety, panic attacks, and social phobias.
  • Eating Disorders.
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders
  • Anger Management
  • Bereavement
  • Parent-Child Relationships
  • Marital Issues
  • Healing from Extra-Marital Affairs

Some insurance companies will pay towards these sessions, others may deny them.

The most important element in either the coaching or therapy process is the relationship between the client and the therapist / coach.

The fee for individual, couples, or family therapy is $150 per 50 minute session.
