Couples and Money

Money is the number one issue that couples may argue about.  One person may not work, one person may earn considerably more than the other.  One partner may be a spender and the other a saver.  Computing how expenses will be divided may need help from a financial advisor.

Money arguments may have more to do with control or power issues.  As in any conflict, talk, listen and don’t attack.  And discuss finances before the wedding.

Go to Suzy Orman for advice on financial issues and determining your potential mate’s spending habits.

Refresher Course on The Law of Attraction

You have heard of the Law of Attraction and possibly even used it to enhance your life.  Here are the 7 steps to implement the Law.

1.  Meditate for 5 to 10 minutes.

2.  Be sure what you want and when you do decide, don’t doubt yourself.  Be sure it is something you have strong enthusiasm for.

3.  Make your request from the Universe.  See this as already yours. See your desired home, vacation, relationship, etc.

4.  Write your wish down.  Everyday imagine your desire as if it is coming to you.

5.  Feel the way you will feel after receiving your wish.  This is the most important step.

6.  Thank the Universe.  Write down all that you have to be thankful for.

7.  Be patient. Trust the Universe.  Don’t stress.  Focus on only one wish at a time.

What Works for You?

I work with managed-care  companies and self-pay clients. I give my best to all clients, and my fees low enough so that most people can afford self-pay.

With self-pay, would you like to be able to email me between sessions, have a session by email or on the phone?

Would you appreciate the assurance of absolute privacy?  Wouldn’t you like knowing that, I, as your coach/therapist am available to you more often than through managed care?

I have four and a half decades of experience.  I am licensed and mandated to take courses to update my knowledge.

You need to search for a potential therapist very carefully.  Look for experience coupled with compassion.

Whatevere works for you, call me at 305-461-9726.  Let’s chat and see if we click.  My voice mail is confidential if I am not available.

Benefits of Relationship Coaching

Coaching is very effective for anyone who wants life improvement and goal achievement.  Coaching is a therapeutic model used by many relationship counselors and therapists to assist people in achieving their relationship goals.  The coach assists clients in overcoming blocks, setting and achieving goals.  Psychotherapy is generally more concerned with the client’s past — working through trauma, blocks, earlier experiences, etc., whereas coaching is generally more concerned with the present and future — setting clear goals and going about attaining them.  Coaching is focused on goal achievement and movement forward.  Following are some of the benefits of Relationship Coaching.

The Coach’s job is to motivate clients to move forward toward their goals.  Coach’s function as a support for their clients, while letting their clients know that it is ultimately themselves that they need to please.  Ideally, clients will learn to “coach themselves” during their coaching process.  When clients feel a sense of personal control and self-esteem, they are capable of achieving much more.
